Premium Immunohistochemistry-Grade 7TM Antibodies

G protein-coupled recptors (GPCRs) and heptahelical receptors (7TMR) are notoriously difficult to detect in fixed tissues using antibodies. For many of these receptors the cellular and subcellular localization remains a major challenge. 7TM Antibodies provides highly-characterized protein binding reagents for selected human and rodent GPCRs, which are well suited for efficient localization in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Each of these antibodies has gone through advanced validation in transfected cells and native tissues using Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Where ever species cross-reactivity allowed, the verification process included validation using knockout mice (KO-Validated). We strictly adhere to the IUPHAR guidelines for receptor nomenclature.
